Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Maintenance and Repair Technician responsible for the independent servicing and repair of electronic assemblies and complete devices. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing faults using technical documentation and schematics, performing complex repairs down to the chip-level, and ensuring compliance with standards like IPC-A-610. The technician will conduct test runs using predefined procedures, manage timely repairs within agreed turnaround times, and meticulously document all repair times and quality data within the IT system. Furthermore, the role involves creating cost estimates for chargeable repairs. Key qualifications include a completed electrical engineering qualification (such as Mechatronics or Electronics Technician), initial professional experience in chip-level repair, and proficiency in basic soldering and using standard measurement equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
