Job Summary

This role requires a dedicated Metrology Technician to execute specialized measurement tasks utilizing gear, 3D coordinate, and contour measuring technology within a dedicated measuring room. Key daily responsibilities include the precise programming of measurement routines, particularly for gear metrology, conducting various hand measurements, and generating detailed dimensional reports (Maßprotokolle) for archiving in the PDM system. The ideal candidate must hold a completed technical education and bring several years of professional experience in metrology, with a specific focus on coordinate and gear measurement techniques. While not mandatory, training as a Coordinate Measuring Technician (such as Aukom 2) and experience with contour measuring devices are highly valued. The position demands strong technical understanding, quick comprehension, and the flexibility to work in shifts, while offering a secure, permanent contract and competitive compensation under the IG Metall tariff.
