Job Summary

This role seeks a (Senior) ServiceNow Platform Engineer to drive the strategic development and operation of IT platforms for major European retailers within the Schwarz IT group (Kaufland, Lidl). Day-to-day, you will be responsible for implementing, refining, and documenting complex program solutions and extensions for external customers, while leading the deployment and evolution of ServiceNow as a core platform. A key aspect of the role involves supporting IT experts, developing IT concepts based on customer needs, and conducting independent research into emerging technologies to introduce creative solutions. This position is highly attractive as it involves guiding new solutions and projects through the entire lifecycle, from initial conception to implementation, and requires significant participation in strategic decision-making processes. Success requires strong experience in application development, scripting (Python, Ruby), Linux administration, and expertise in agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban) and Security Best Practices.
