This role involves providing essential technical support for physics practical courses at RWTH Aachen University, specifically within the Experimental Physics III A Chair. The successful candidate will be responsible for reorganizing and improving experimental setups, including the equipment and material storage, to enhance flexibility and enable independent modification by students. Key tasks also include maintaining and repairing physics experiments for students in their 3rd to 5th year of study, assisting physicists in developing new experiments, and offering technical help and organizational support during practical course operations. The position requires a hands-on individual with strong technical skills, an aptitude for problem-solving, and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within an academic environment.
