Job Summary

This role is ideal for a diligent and organized Chemical Laboratory Technician (or equivalent qualification) seeking a challenging full-time position in Hamburg. Day-to-day responsibilities focus heavily on sample preparation and analysis for pesticide detection in various food and feed samples. Key tasks include applying diverse extraction methods (group, single, and multi-methods), purifying, and preparing extracts ready for measurement. You will also be responsible for the maintenance and documentation of the laboratory equipment used. Candidates must possess professional knowledge of analytical processing techniques, such as Solid Phase Extraction (SPE), Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC), and wet chemistry. The position requires a willingness to work within a 2-shift system and offers the attractive prospect of transitioning from temporary employment to a permanent contract with the leading laboratory company.
