Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position seeks a Field Service Technician to provide technical service for laboratory instruments, primarily focusing on weighing technology, within the greater Baden-Württemberg area (Heidelberg, Heilbronn, Ludwigsburg, Ulm) as a regional floater. Operating remotely from a home office, the technician will manage 1st Level Support and execute planned service assignments, requiring regular travel both regionally and occasionally across the D-A-CH region (approx. 70% floater activity). Key duties include independent execution of installations, qualifications (IQ/OQ), maintenance, calibrations, and repairs. The role demands meticulous documentation of all work, adhering to highly regulated standards common in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and food industries. The ideal candidate should possess a background in electronics or mechatronics, strong electromechanical skills, and a proven track record in technical field service, combined with excellent customer focus and communication abilities.
