Job Summary

This critical role as a Chemical Waste Coordinator involves managing the entire lifecycle of radioactive waste for a leading company in the radiopharmaceutical sector. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely, compliant, and cost-effective disposal of waste, coordinating sorting protocols, and meticulously documenting all waste activities and storage capacities. A key component of the job is acting as a central interface, bridging communication between production teams, radiation protection experts, and site disposal services. Furthermore, you will be tasked with training and instructing employees on proper waste handling procedures and optimizing existing processes for waste reduction. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in chemistry or waste management, offering a stable, permanent contract, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to contribute directly to life-saving advancements in cancer diagnostics and therapy.

Required Skills

Education

Completed training as a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Specialist in Circular and Waste Management, or Bachelor's degree in a natural science field (e.g., Chemistry or Physics)

Experience

  • Ideally professional experience in radiation protection or handling radionuclides
  • Professional experience in waste activity balancing and documentation
  • Experience in coordinating interdepartmental processes (Production, Radiation Protection, Disposal)
