Job Summary

This critical role involves leading the Quality Control (QC) department responsible for testing raw materials (APIs and excipients) at a specialized pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Plankstadt. The Laboratory Manager will provide disciplinary and technical leadership to staff, ensuring the timely, cost-optimized, and compliant execution of all tests, including deviation management and final release according to relevant regulations. Key responsibilities include maintaining the validated state of analytical methods (HPLC, GC, Titrations), ensuring GMP documentation compliance, managing method transfers, and representing the QC area during regulatory inspections and customer audits. Candidates require a degree in Natural Sciences, several years of experience in pharmaceutical QC/QA, and deep knowledge of analytical techniques, GMP guidelines, and pharmacopoeias, alongside excellent German and English proficiency. This position offers high responsibility in a leading CDMO environment focused on highly potent active ingredients.
