Job Summary

This role as an Electrical Commissioning Technician focuses on bringing electrical systems and equipment on rail vehicles into full operation. Day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting detailed functional tests, performing complex fault analysis, and diagnosing and resolving disturbances within electrical and electronic systems during the critical commissioning phase. A core component of the job is ensuring rigorous adherence to safety regulations and quality standards, alongside meticulous documentation using SAP and creating detailed test protocols. The ideal candidate possesses a structured, responsible, and quality-conscious work ethic, supported by an educational background in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics and relevant professional experience in system commissioning or maintenance. Knowledge of control, regulation, and high/low voltage technology is highly advantageous. This position offers a permanent contract, challenging responsibilities, and significant support for continuous professional development within a specialized engineering environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electrician, Electrical Technician, or Mechatronics Technician, plus further qualification as a Master Craftsman or Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering
