Job Summary
This Data Engineer role at Optima Pharma involves contributing to the development of intelligent, future-oriented filling solutions for the highly demanding pharma and biotech industries. The core responsibility is designing and implementing robust data pipelines to capture and process vast amounts of time-series data originating from sensors and automation systems in pharmaceutical production plants. You will leverage modern cloud architectures such as Azure or AWS to conceptualize scalable storage solutions, ensuring the efficient management of structured and unstructured data. A key focus is guaranteeing the fast, secure, and highly available delivery of data to analyst teams. Utilizing advanced Big Data technologies like Apache Spark, Kafka, or Delta Lake, you will process large streams to enable critical data-driven functions, including anomaly detection and energy monitoring. Success requires a degree in a technical field like Computer Science, proven experience with industrial Big Data, and strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms.
