PhD Researcher in Cell Biology and Immunology | Biologe (m/w/d)
Andrew Clark Lab - University of Stuttgart
Job Summary
The Clark lab at the University of Stuttgart and the Stuttgart Research Center for Systems Biology (SRCSB) is seeking a highly-motivated PhD researcher to explore the fundamental interactions between inflammatory and mechanosensing pathways in the intestine. This DFG-funded position (E13/65%) involves cutting-edge research combining high-resolution live cell imaging, quantitative analysis, and mechanobiology to understand intestinal cell function in homeostasis and disease. The successful candidate will independently develop and execute project aims, utilizing state-of-the-art culture techniques for intestinal organoids (mouse and human) and in vivo mouse models. This role offers the chance to work in an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment with close interactions with clinicians and researchers at the University Hospital Tübingen and international partners, making it an excellent opportunity for career development in systems biology and cellular analytics. A Master’s degree and a background in cell biology or mechanobiology are essential.
