Job Summary

This leadership role involves the technical and disciplinary management of a six-person team specializing in individual application development and customization of standard applications, such as the Omnitracker ITSM system. The Team Leader will oversee the entire software lifecycle, from development to operation, ensuring adherence to established development methodologies, programming standards, and framework usage. A key component of the role is monitoring technological trends, assessing their impact, and adapting the team's strategy accordingly. Candidates must possess strong foundational knowledge in application development (specifically Java or C#) and software architecture, coupled with proven leadership experience. This position is vital for the digital transformation of the City of Nuremberg, requiring excellent project management and communication skills to coordinate with downstream IT departments and lead new software introduction projects.
