Job Summary

This role seeks a highly motivated and talented expert to join Apple’s RF System Engineering team, defining and architecting the next generation of Cellular RF Receiver solutions for future products, spanning current 5G New Radio and emerging 6G concepts. The engineer will architect the complete RF Receiver chain, from antenna to digital baseband, translating high-level system requirements into detailed component and block-level specifications. Key responsibilities include developing and owning detailed RF line-up analysis, creating comprehensive level plans and link budgets, and building system-level simulations using Matlab and Python. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in state-of-the-art receiver architectures, mastery of RF system performance metrics (NF, non-linearity), and in-depth knowledge of 3GPP standards. This position requires driving the concept-to-product journey, ensuring successful integration, validation, and optimization through to mass production.
