This role involves serving as an IT Security Manager within the Bremen Police Department, focusing on developing and implementing robust information security frameworks across the organization. Key responsibilities include creating organization-wide IT security concepts and risk analyses, providing expert consultation on information security processes and IT risk management, and coordinating the authority-wide implementation of Information Security Management (ISM). The manager will also develop realization plans for security measures, draft relevant guidelines and instructions, and conduct informational security training. This position is ideal for a professional with a background in Computer Science or related fields, possessing proven experience and certification in IT Security and Risk Management. The role requires strong analytical skills, innovation, and the ability to lead projects and working groups, ensuring the integration of security decisions across all relevant departments.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Geoinformatics, Media Informatics, Engineering, Economics, Natural Sciences, or Risk and Security Management; or equivalent vocational training and advanced qualifications combined with 3+ years of relevant IT experience.
Experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in Information Technology (if degree is non-IT related)
- Professional experience in IT Security Management, preferably with certification
- Professional experience in IT Risk Management, preferably with certification
- Experience in IT project work
