Job Summary

This role is ideal for a dedicated IT professional passionate about hardware diagnostics and repair within the Point-of-Sale (POS) technology sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing repair orders for POS systems and peripheral devices, including detailed fault analysis and hardware fixes. Daily tasks involve providing technical support and consultation to customers via telephone, managing the spare parts inventory, and meticulously documenting all completed repair jobs. Furthermore, the technician will assist in preparing for and participating in trade fair activities. Key qualifications include a completed technical education (such as IT System Electronics Specialist), strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and at least three years of experience in PC hardware repair. Familiarity with standard POS operating systems and retail/hospitality cash register software is a significant advantage, making this a varied and engaging position within a global technology innovator.
