Job Summary
This role as an IT System Administrator focusing on Client Systems involves the technical operation, administration, and continuous development of Windows clients used both indoors and outdoors. A core part of the daily work includes managing user accounts and permissions within Active Directory, controlling security settings via Group Policies, and ensuring efficient software distribution using SCCM. The administrator will also be responsible for implementing and monitoring crucial client-side IT security measures and providing essential First and Second Level technical support to users. The ideal candidate holds a relevant Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a completed three-year IT apprenticeship, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration, and possesses good German language skills. This position offers the stability of a public sector employer (Lower Saxony Forest Planning Office), flexible working hours, and the option for mobile work, though it is initially a fixed-term contract for two years.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, OR completed minimum three-year IT apprenticeship (preferably IT Specialist for System Integration)

- Professional experience in technical operation and administration of Windows clients
- Experience with user management and rights assignment in Active Directory
- Experience controlling security-relevant topics via Group Policies
