Job Summary

As a Project Manager for Railway Infrastructure, you will be instrumental in modernizing Germany's railway network, focusing on signal, telecommunications, and electrical engineering projects in Southern Bavaria. Your daily responsibilities will involve overseeing the entire project lifecycle from planning and procurement to construction, commissioning, and final acceptance of critical railway systems like electronic and digital interlockings, level crossings, and overhead lines. You will lead project engineers, act as a primary contact for all stakeholders including authorities and external companies, and ensure projects adhere to strict timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer passionate about shaping the future of railway infrastructure and leading complex technical projects.

Required Skills

Education

University or Technical College Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning and/or realizing infrastructure projects, specifically in control and safety technology, telecommunications, electrical engineering, or overhead line systems
  • Experience with project management methods, systems, key figures, and processes
  • Professional experience in leading project engineers (advantageous, not mandatory)
