This role as an Application IT Support Specialist involves serving as the primary technical point of contact for specialized business applications within one of Germany’s largest IT system houses. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the full lifecycle of application tickets, encompassing detailed error analysis, immediate troubleshooting, and efficient escalation to the development team when necessary. A core function is monitoring application operations to guarantee continuous availability for end-users. The specialist will also be responsible for maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and updating the internal knowledge base. Key qualifications for this position include completed vocational training in IT (such as System Integration), foundational knowledge of Windows and MS Office, and specific technical expertise in SQL databases and the JAVA EE programming language.
