Job Summary

This role involves ensuring continuous IT system and server availability within an international environment, with a primary focus on managing and developing Linux servers, associated storage, and network infrastructure. The System Administrator will be responsible for the regular maintenance and optimization of existing server and software landscapes, proactive monitoring, and performance assurance of services. A key part of the job includes taking on project leadership for IT infrastructure projects and handling inquiries and disruptions through 2nd level support. Candidates should ideally possess a qualification in IT System Integration or equivalent, coupled with excellent knowledge of Linux operating systems (preferably Debian-based). Proficiency in container technologies like Docker, along with scripting and automation tools such as Bash, Python, and Ansible, is essential.
