Job Summary
The City Administration of Vaihingen an der Enz is seeking a motivated and innovative HR Specialist to join their Main Office and drive the cultural and digital transformation of their public administration. This role is central to developing a modern, efficient, and digitized administration, focusing on optimizing processes and reducing bureaucracy. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting and supporting managers and employees on all personnel matters, independently managing the full lifecycle of personnel processes (hiring, changes, transfers, dismissals), and actively contributing to the conceptual development of HR processes, digitalization projects, and workforce planning. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant degree in Public Management or HR, an affinity for digital transformation, and strong knowledge of labor and civil service law. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Higher Non-Technical Administrative Service (e.g., Diploma in Public Administration or Bachelor of Arts in Public Management), or a comparable degree in Administrative Sciences, Human Resources, or Personnel Management; alternatively, completed qualification as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt) or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Knowledge and experience in collective bargaining, labor, and civil service law (desirable)
- Professional experience in personnel management and administrative processes
