Job Summary

This full-time Mechatronics Technician role, based in Wegberg, involves executing electromechanical, electrical, and electronic modifications on control cabinets, devices, and subsystems for a major client, Siemens Mobility GmbH. Day-to-day tasks include performing retrofits and conversions according to technical specifications and circuit diagrams, troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic components, and resolving customer defects on vehicles. The successful candidate will document all completed work, ensure system functionality and safety after modifications, and collaborate closely with development, quality, and service departments. Key requirements include a completed vocational qualification in Mechatronics, Electronics, or similar fields, and a willingness to work shifts. Professional experience, particularly with rail vehicles, is advantageous, and strong German language skills are necessary for effective communication and documentation.
