Job Summary

This role requires an experienced Cisco Unified Communications Engineer to operate and administer complex Telephony and UC systems, including Cisco CUCM, Jabber, Unity, Video infrastructure, and Genesys Contact Center. Key daily responsibilities involve advanced troubleshooting of the entire UC environment, analyzing system and call traces, and processing incidents, moves, adds, changes, and deletions (IMAC/D) using ServiceNow. The engineer will be responsible for implementing changes, performing updates, patches, and version changes, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation. Furthermore, the position involves developing and implementing new system solutions, conducting workshops, and actively participating in ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change). The ideal candidate must possess deep knowledge of Cisco Voice technologies, relevant CCNA/CCNP Collaboration certifications, and strong skills in project management and vendor steering, working in a customer- and service-oriented manner.

Experience

  • Deep knowledge of Cisco Voice (CUCM, CUP, Unity), Cisco IOS, and Cisco UCS Virtualization
  • Operational experience in large CUCM environments
  • Experience with Video systems (Cisco TP, Arcano) and Genesys Contact Center
  • Experience in Project Management and vendor steering
  • Experience with ticket and support processes (ServiceNow)
  • Experience in UC/Telephony solution design and ITIL processes
