Job Summary

This role is designed for an experienced accounting professional ready to take on leadership responsibilities within a forward-thinking organization. The Deputy Team Lead will support the organizational and technical management of a 16-person accounting team, serving as a key representative for the Team Lead. Core duties include assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements in close cooperation with tax consultants, managing liquidity planning, and actively participating in daily accounting operations, particularly across accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets. A critical component of the role involves serving as the main contact for auditors, tax consultants, and internal departments, as well as driving projects focused on the digitalization and automation of accounting processes. Candidates must possess multi-year experience in financial accounting, strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB), and proven leadership competence.
