Job Summary

This role involves the administration and management of federal grant projects on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS), situated within the German Pension Insurance Knappschaft-Bahn-See network. The specialist will be responsible for preparing decision templates for project selection, implementing grant programs, and providing comprehensive consultation to project sponsors regarding applications, project changes, and billing/settlement. Key duties also include organizing informational events, creating essential materials such as guidelines and templates, and participating in English-speaking working groups. Candidates must possess a university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Administration, Economics, Business Law, or a related field, coupled with confident English proficiency in both written and spoken forms. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of public finance/budget law, specifically grant or administrative law, and demonstrate a proactive, structured, and highly responsible work ethic.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor or Diplom FH) in Administration, Economics, Business Law, Law, or Business Administration, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in project administration or public sector management
  • Experience working with grant law or administrative law (Ideal)
  • Experience supporting the creation of funding guidelines
