Job Summary

This role involves providing essential IT infrastructure support for a successful retail chain across the greater Straubing area. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the on-site service, installation, and maintenance of critical IT systems, including Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, client PCs, mobile devices, and server hardware. Day-to-day tasks include configuration of desktop and mobile endpoints, administration of active network components, printer setup, and handling technical customer inquiries. A key part of the job involves coordinating technical preparations for new store openings. The ideal candidate possesses a background in IT (such as an IT Specialist or Network Technician qualification), at least two years of experience with POS and server systems, and a willingness to participate in on-call duty and occasional weekend work. This position offers an intensive onboarding process, development opportunities, and is initially temporary employment with a strong option for permanent takeover.
