Job Summary

This role is ideal for a highly motivated Senior Network and System Administrator who thrives in a complex, mission-critical Operational Technology (OT) environment, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry. The successful candidate will assume technical leadership for core infrastructure components, including local network management, server and storage administration, firewall security, and the operation of a local data center. A significant part of the role involves developing and implementing advanced IT/OT concepts, ensuring strict adherence to corporate standards and compliance requirements, and leveraging Cloud Infrastructure Services, specifically AWS. Day-to-day tasks include proactive system monitoring, analyzing and resolving operational disruptions, and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to integrate new technologies. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to Bayer's vision of overcoming global challenges while utilizing expertise in IT security and complex technical communication, requiring fluency in both German and English.
