Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive responsibilities in a modern molecular biology laboratory, focusing on infection and lymphoma diagnostics. The successful candidate will be responsible for sample processing, DNA isolation using automated systems like MagNAPure96, and performing various PCR techniques including standard PCR, qPCR (manual and automated with MYRA Liquid Handling System), and subsequent analysis using capillary gel electrophoresis and Magnetic Induction Cycler. The position also includes conducting mutation analyses and pathogen typing via Sanger Sequencing, and GeneScan analyses. Beyond diagnostics, the role encompasses general lab management tasks such as coordinating with other departments and medical professionals, supervising student workers, managing sample and data archiving, ordering consumables, and troubleshooting.
