Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated PLC Automation Specialist responsible for the full lifecycle management of automated production facilities and robotic systems. Key daily tasks include the programming and commissioning of new machinery, optimization of cycle times, and process improvements, particularly focusing on robotics and PLC software (e.g., SIMATIC S7, TIA Portal). The specialist will also develop and maintain HMI visualizations and integrate these systems with higher-level platforms like SCADA, MES, and ERP. Furthermore, the role involves independent fault analysis, resolution, and conducting training for employees. The specialist will support planning and acceptance processes for new systems and manage maintenance, upgrades, and version control for existing PLC and robot programs, often supporting modernization projects. A successful candidate must possess completed technical training in automation, electrical engineering, or mechatronics, coupled with several years of hands-on experience in PLC and robot programming (ABB) and drive technology, offering a chance to shape future-oriented solutions in mobility, energy, and digitalization.
