Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a prestigious German shipyard specializing in naval shipbuilding, known for setting standards in technology and design. You will be instrumental in the effective deployment of vessels by participating in the concept development and selection of critical electrical systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed technical specifications, preparing inquiry documents for suppliers, and managing all related design and testing documentation. A core part of the job involves coordinating closely with internal and external interfaces to ensure seamless system integration onboard the ships, supporting acceptance procedures, and overseeing the manufacturing implementation. The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and brings several years of experience in electrical design, preferably within large-scale projects like naval shipbuilding. Fluency in German and good English skills are essential for effective communication across all stakeholders.
