Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced PLC Programmer to drive the successful implementation of customized control concepts within automation projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include the design and programming of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), the creation of user-friendly Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), and the setup of complex visualization systems tailored to specific plant requirements. A key part of the role involves the precise parametrization of drive systems to ensure optimal functionality, along with creating and reviewing electrical schematics and technical documentation. During commissioning, you will ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations and provide practical customer training. Candidates must possess a degree or technician qualification in Automation Technology, coupled with practical experience in PLC controls and drive technology, specifically Siemens systems. Knowledge of creating electrical diagrams, ideally using EPLAN, is highly advantageous.
