This Application Engineer role involves driving the next generation of engine application technology by performing detailed motor applications both within vehicles and on dedicated engine test benches. A core responsibility is actively participating in the advancement and testing of new diagnostic functions, ensuring system integrity and performance. Day-to-day tasks include meticulous error analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement optimization strategies, and accurately capturing and evaluating measurement data. Successful candidates must hold a completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field, coupled with initial practical experience utilizing specialized tools such as INCA and Matlab/Simulink. The position requires strong teamwork abilities, flexibility, and excellent proficiency in German alongside good English skills, offering continuous professional development within a large, expanding engineering service provider.
