Job Summary

This role is centered on the development, validation, and optimization of precise electrical simulation models for complex systems, ensuring products comply with necessary grid regulations and guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed models to simulate product operating characteristics, rigorously validating and evaluating these models, and preparing for external model validation required during the certification process. The engineer will also support internal and external stakeholders in applying the simulation models and contribute to technical documentation and relevant committees concerning model requirements. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power Engineering, Control Engineering, or Automation Technology, coupled with professional experience in the grid integration of power generation facilities. Strong foundational knowledge in control engineering, power engineering, and power electronics is essential for success in this demanding technical role.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering (specializing in Power Engineering, Control Engineering, or Automation Technology) or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the grid integration of power generation plants
  • Professional experience in electrical systems modeling and analysis
  • Advantageous: Experience in model development of RMS and EMT models with simulation software
