Job Summary

This role involves supporting the critical Information, Communication, and Police Technology (IuK) systems for the Upper Palatinate Police Headquarters in Regensburg. The technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, programming, and adjustment of specialized security and communication infrastructure, including Intercom and public address (ELA) systems, building management systems (BMS, e.g., Schneider), access control readers, and police alarm systems (fire/general). Key responsibilities also include project management for IuK aspects of construction projects and providing essential technical support during special police operations, potentially as part of the negotiation group. Candidates must possess completed vocational training as an IT Systems Electronics Technician, demonstrate fluency in German, have a clean background, and be proficient in IT fundamentals (networks, servers) and Microsoft Office. This position offers the unique opportunity to transition from an initial fixed-term contract into a permanent civil servant status (Beamtenverhältnis) within the police force, provided specific age and qualification criteria are met.

Experience
