Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the continuous operation, maintenance, and security of critical IT-supported operational systems and networked/non-networked facilities at the Grohnde site, a key center for radioactive waste management in Germany. The specialist will perform regular testing, maintenance, installation, and setup of technical systems, including crane controls and PLC systems. A crucial part of the job is supporting IT security implementation, managing access controls, and maintaining detailed asset and inventory lists, alongside creating and updating system descriptions and safety documentation. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering or Automation Technician, possesses solid professional experience with PLCs (like Siemens Simatic S7), and has strong knowledge of operating systems and troubleshooting technical systems.
