Job Summary

This position is for a Research Associate or Postdoctoral Researcher at the TUD Dresden University of Technology, within the Faculty of Computer Science's Chair of Machine Learning for Robotics. The successful candidate will define and lead new research directions, focusing primarily on Robotic Manipulation, Robot Learning, Touch Sensing, and Machine Learning. Day-to-day activities involve significant research leadership, supervising Bachelor, Master, and PhD students, engaging in teaching, and supporting administrative tasks like grant writing. Key requirements include a PhD in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, coupled with practical experience in Machine Learning algorithms, robot control and operation, and strong programming skills (ROS, C/C++, Python, PyTorch).
