Job Summary

This position seeks an EUV Development Engineer to join a high-technology company specializing in machine tools and laser technology. The core focus of the role is the comprehensive testing and optimization of high-power laser systems essential for EUV lithography. Day-to-day tasks involve rigorous planning, execution, and detailed data evaluation of system tests. Furthermore, the engineer will utilize tools like Matlab and Python for the modeling and simulation of complex optical system properties. This role offers direct involvement in exciting technical projects, managing them from initial concept development right through to successful product introduction. Success requires close collaboration with production, service teams, and customers to address technical challenges and collaboratively develop innovative solutions. The ideal candidate holds a Master's or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, coupled with practical expertise in optics, laser physics, and optical metrology, and must be proficient in both German and English.
