Job Summary

This role is for an IT Service Technician based in Dresden, supporting a client that operates an innovative digital information hub contributing to the city's digital transformation. The core responsibilities focus on maintaining and configuring the client's digital infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include the hands-on installation and configuration of operating systems, device-specific drivers, and essential programs. You will also be responsible for network configuration, comprehensive software troubleshooting, and conducting rigorous hardware testing and final acceptance checks according to established quality standards. A significant component of the role involves contributing to quality assurance routines, managing complaints and defects, and helping develop standardized operational guidelines for the production environment. Candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification, such as an IT System Electronics Technician degree or equivalent, and demonstrate a precise, structured, and self-directed work ethic. Fluency in German (C1 level) is a mandatory requirement for this position.
