Job Summary
This role involves taking responsibility for the development and system design of high-voltage components specifically for electric and hybrid vehicles. The Development Engineer will manage the entire development lifecycle, from initial requirements definition through to final testing. Key daily tasks include collaborating closely with various internal departments and external suppliers, conducting simulations, and performing functional tests for component design and parameterization. A critical aspect of the role is co-responsibility for the conceptualization and evaluation of necessary safety measures (Functional Safety - FuSi). Ideal candidates will possess a technical or scientific degree, initial relevant experience in HV component product development or E-Mobility, and knowledge of high-voltage storage, drive systems, and battery technology.
