Job Summary

This Junior FPGA Engineer role focuses on the design and implementation of digital signal processing solutions within the automotive sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the specification and design of digital signal processing architectures, implementing signal processing modules, and integrating digital circuits into complex FPGA designs. A core part of the role involves simulating, verifying, and documenting the functionality of these circuits within the overall device, often using evaluation platforms for investigation. Key qualifications include a completed university degree in Electrical Engineering (preferably specializing in Communications Technology or Signal Processing) and advanced knowledge of digital signal processing and system theory. Applied knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink is required, and initial experience with VHDL and FPGA circuit design is highly beneficial. The position requires fluent proficiency in both written and spoken German and English, along with a dedicated and team-oriented approach to work. This position offers exposure to challenging, cross-industry projects within Germany's largest industrial sectors.
