Job Summary

This role as a Functional Safety Engineer focuses on ensuring the safety integrity of complex technical systems across various industries. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining detailed safety requirements at the system, component, and discipline level, advising project teams on Safety Integrity Level (SIL) and Performance Level (PL) compliance, and reviewing the implementation of safety functions in both hardware and software. The engineer will also be responsible for creating comprehensive functional safety documentation and supporting verification and validation processes. Candidates should hold a university degree in a relevant engineering field like Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Automotive Engineering. While initial professional experience in Functional Safety is preferred, highly motivated recent graduates with relevant practical experience gained through internships or thesis work are strongly encouraged to apply.
