Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Engineer responsible for the end-to-end technical planning, coordination, and realization of demanding IT infrastructure initiatives. Key responsibilities include independently managing sub-projects such as Cloud Migration, Server Rollout, and Network Design, while acting as the crucial link between conceptual design and practical implementation. The engineer will create detailed technical specifications, coordinate extensively with internal IT experts and external service providers, and ensure successful transition into regular operation through rigorous testing and documentation. Candidates must possess a completed technical degree (Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent qualification, coupled with several years of experience in IT infrastructure projects. Strong foundational knowledge across networking, server management, virtualization, or cloud technologies is essential, complemented by excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. This position offers a high degree of autonomy and the flexibility of predominantly remote work, requiring only occasional on-site presence in Karlsruhe.
