Technical Officer for Planning and Construction | Technischen Mitarbeiter (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves actively shaping community development by managing and executing central construction and infrastructure projects within the Planning and Construction department. The Technical Officer will oversee municipal construction measures from initial planning through to completion, including creating tenders, awarding contracts, and supervising construction activities. Key responsibilities also include acting as the client's representative, managing acceptance and billing processes, and technically controlling communal facilities like waterworks and sewage treatment plants. Candidates must possess a degree as a certified construction technician, professional experience in planning and execution, and knowledge of German public procurement law (HOAI, VOB, VOL). The position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency with MS Office, GIS, and CAD software, and a service-oriented approach to working with the community and external engineering firms.
