Job Summary
This permanent, full-time role requires a dedicated Facility Manager to oversee the safe and efficient operation of all technical systems within a municipal school in Bad Mergentheim. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing minor maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring the overall security, order, and cleanliness of the premises, and coordinating external services for major maintenance, cleaning, and renovation projects. A critical aspect of the role is identifying and mitigating hazards and implementing cost optimization strategies. Candidates must have completed vocational training in a technical field or possess strong foundational knowledge in building services and electrical engineering, along with demonstrable manual skills. The position demands high initiative, resilience, and the flexibility to work outside standard hours, including performing winter services, locking duties, and assisting with school events. Compensation is based on the TVöD VKA salary group 5.
