Job Summary

This critical role involves the technical oversight and continuous optimization of investment casting processes, specifically focusing on ceramic shell manufacturing, for TITAL GmbH—a leading German manufacturer of high-quality aluminum and titanium components for the aerospace industry, operating as part of the international Howmet Aerospace group. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and refining process parameters and raw material usage, ensuring robust process stability, and maintaining high quality standards. The engineer will also be tasked with supporting the introduction of new products and procedures, and crucially, analyzing and resolving casting defects originating from the ceramic mold production phase. The position requires a university degree in Ceramics or Materials Technology, coupled with professional experience in aluminum investment casting or the ceramic industry. Success in this autonomous role demands strong process optimization and error analysis skills, excellent teamwork, and fluency in German (C1) alongside good English proficiency.
