Job Summary

This full-time role, based in Augsburg, involves working within the IT Department's Project Management Office (PMO) for the Diocese of Augsburg. The Application Developer will be crucial in the new development and continuous enhancement of IT applications, particularly for the bishopric-wide Intranet. Day-to-day tasks include developing web applications, implementing design requirements, managing testing phases, handling updates/version changes, and providing 2nd-level support. The role also involves technical maintenance of IT applications, developing interfaces, and executing Proof of Concepts (PoC). The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Computer Science or an equivalent IT qualification with professional experience, possessing strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (Java or C), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL databases.
