Job Summary

This project role focuses on driving digital transformation and implementing an Open Data strategy within a municipal administration, specifically coordinating the 'OPEN_HERZ' project. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting project contents, ensuring compliance with funding requirements (Bundesprogramm Land.OpenData). Key activities include identifying, evaluating, and preparing municipal datasets (e.g., geospatial, environmental, mobility data) for public release as Open Data. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills to develop a municipal Open Data implementation plan, conceptualize and lead workshops and training sessions for various stakeholders (administration, citizens), and manage public relations and networking efforts. Required Skills

Education

Completed University Degree (Bachelor or Diploma FH) in Administrative Sciences, Information Management, Geoinformatics, Urban and Regional Development, or a comparable field

Experience

  • Professional experience in project work, preferably in publicly funded programs
  • Knowledge in Open Data, data management, or digital administration
  • Experience in public relations and citizen participation (Desirable)
  • Experience with the profi-Online funding portal and ANBest-Gk / BHO regulations (Desirable)
