Job Summary
This challenging role involves the operative management of the aquaculture breeding division in Kiel, focusing on the sustainable, land-based cultivation of Giant Grouper and White Tiger Saltwater Shrimp using advanced Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) technology. The manager is responsible for leading the team and ensuring the optimal well-being of the aquatic animals through continuous monitoring of system parameters and behavioral observation. Key responsibilities include overseeing the technical functionality and maintenance of production facilities, conducting water quality analysis, and managing operating supplies. Furthermore, the role involves the application, execution, and analysis of research and development (R&D) projects to advance breeding techniques. Candidates must possess a degree in Marine Biology, a qualification as a Fish Farmer, or a related natural science background, combined with professional experience in RAS technology and team leadership.
