Job Summary

This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced and creative scientist to head the Bioinformatics Facility at the Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics (MPI-IE) in Freiburg, Germany. The successful candidate will be tasked with implementing advanced AI and Machine Learning approaches, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and deep learning architectures, to analyze and integrate high-dimensional biological datasets such as single-cell omics and advanced imaging data. Required Skills

Education

PhD (or equivalent experience) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or related fields.
