Job Summary

This role requires an engaged Technical Assistant to operationally support the scientific and administrative working groups at the Max Delbrück Center, focusing primarily on offboarding, clearance, and relocation processes starting February 2026. Key responsibilities include coordinating with internal stakeholders (such as IT, Facility Management, Archives, and Radiation Protection) and external services, planning the dissolution of office and laboratory spaces, and ensuring proper disposal or transfer of chemicals, IT equipment, and confidential materials according to regulations. The ideal candidate must possess long-term professional experience in biological laboratories, profound expertise in organizing S1, S2, radioisotope, and photo labs, and proficiency in the safe handling and disposal of laboratory chemicals.
