Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position in Varel, Germany, seeks a Technical Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of municipal civil engineering projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing, tendering, supervising on-site, and settling new construction, renewal, and renovation measures for public infrastructure, including roads, paths, sports fields, and playgrounds (covering HOAI phases 1-9). The role also involves the administration and maintenance of existing road networks, managing street lighting, optimizing traffic light systems, and executing minor hydraulic and landscape design measures. Candidates must possess a degree (Bachelor/Certified Engineer) or technician certification in Civil Engineering or Road Construction, coupled with professional experience in civil engineering and traffic systems. Knowledge of relevant German construction standards (VOB, HOAI) is highly desirable.
